KUA Releases 2000 Annual Report

KISSIMMEE, Fla., March 12, 4:45 pm — The Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) has released its 2000 annual report. Copies have been distributed to local elected officials, employees, and members of the financial community, and copies are available to the general public upon request.

The full-color report — titled “connections” — details KUA’s accomplishments in 2000, highlighting utility employees, customers and the community.

KUA was named a Top 100 Company for Working Families in 2000 by Central Florida Family Magazine for its “connections” with its employees. The utility also earned the 2000 Florida Community Service Award from the Florida Municipal Electric Association for staying connected with the customers and community it serves.

KUA is Florida‘s 7th largest municipally-owned utility serving 53,000 electric, water and Internet customers in four Central Florida counties. KUA celebrates its 100th year of serving the community in 2001.
