KUA Captures Two National Publication Awards

KISSIMMEE, Fla., July 1, 12:00 noon — Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) has received two national awards in the prestigious APEX 2002 Awards for Publication Excellence competition.
APEX Awards – headquartered in Springfield, Virginia – are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the ability to achieve overall excellence in communication.
KUA received awards of excellence for its 2000 annual report and its corporate website, www.kua.com .
KUA’s entries were chosen from 5,900 entries received from government, private corporations and nonprofit organizations throughout the United States and Canada. Other notable winners included American Greetings, Boeing Company, Costco Wholesale, FedEx, IBM Corporation, NASA, National Association of Realtors, and the Walt Disney Company.
KUA has earned 124 local, state, national and international communication awards for public relations programs, events and publications since 1995. KUA is Florida’s 6th largest community-owned utility serving 58,000 electric, water and Internet customers in three Central Florida counties.
