KISSIMMEE, Fla., Nov. 5, 2009 – The Kissimmee Utility Authority board of directors on Wednesday held its annual election of officers for the five-member volunteer governing board.
Retired insurance executive Nancy Gemskie was elected chairman, attorney Fred Cumbie was elected vice chairman, real estate broker Jim Kasper was re-elected secretary and information technology executive Reginald Hardee was re-elected assistant secretary. Dr. George Gant serves on the board as director.
Founded in 1901, KUA (www.kua.com) is Florida’s sixth largest community-owned utility providing electric and telecommunication services to 62,000 customers in Osceola County, Fla.
